More tarnish on Sheehy’s star: financial trouble at Bridger Aerospace

Story from Montana Free Press reports on the company’s annual report, noting that it is deep in debt, suffered $77M in losses for 2023, and is at risk of “violating financial agreements enacted as a result of a $160 million municipal bond agreement with Gallatin County, which was used to finance hangar expansion and to purchase additional aircraft.”

The story notes that the company’s auditor attached a “substantial doubt about its ability to continue as a going concern” note to the report.

The company blames a mild fire season in 2023 in part for its poor 2023 financial results. Montanans must suffer for Sheehy’s company to prosper?

It also notes that Sheehy has not been devoting his full time and attention to the company as he campaigns for the Senate.

Apparently lacking real policy ideas to share with voters, Sheehy’s been selling himself as a “Trump conservative”. Now we know what that means. In emulation of Trump he’s already ticked off the “tells lies” checkbox, as evidenced by the tale of the morphing bullet. It seems he could be well on his way to ticking off the “stiffs creditors” checkbox too. What’s next?

Montana deserves better.
