STATEMENT ON MAGA CANDIDATES FILING AS DEMOCRATS IN CASCADE COUNTY
The Cascade County Democrats have disavowed these fake Democratic candidates and we would like to urge you to vote for the actual Democratic candidates on your Primary Election Ballot on June 2nd.
MAGA candidates have filed as Democrats to primary actual Democratic candidates in Montana Senate Districts 11 and 12. These fake Democratic candidates have made statements to the press that they are reformed Republicans and are now Democrats. While we welcome anyone who is ready to take a left turn from the fascism at the heart of the MAGA movement, we have serious doubts about the sincerity of these candidates. One of the candidates was a precinct person for the Cascade County Republicans until a couple of days after filing in his race. The other is concurrently running for a Republican precinct person slot in the upcoming election. Please vote for Valynda Holland for SD-11 and Mindy Leach for SD-12, the actual Democratic candidates for Montana.
In addition to the MAGA legislative candidates, one of our Democratic precinct people is also being primaried by another fake Democratic candidate. If you live in Precinct 26A, please vote for Mark Good for precinct person.
