The Montana Supreme Court is the final defender of the rights guaranteed all Montanans in the 1972 state constitution. Those rights have been under assault from the last two extremist legislatures, many measures from which the Court has struck down as unconstitutional. Who we elect to these two positions this year is critical to continued protection of our rights, the public lands and natural resources we all love, and the freedom to live our own lives, raise our own kids, and make our own choices, free from the heavy hand of Helena authoritarians.
