UPDATED INFORMATION WITH CORRECT DATES: Once again, COPP staff will be conducting FREE campaign finance training events designed specifically for candidates/campaign treasurers! These trainings will focus on familiarizing 2022 candidates/campaign treasurers with the Campaign Electronic Reporting System (CERS), Montana’s campaign finance registration and reporting system. Trainings will also offer information and guidance regarding Montana’s campaign finance reporting and disclosure requirements. As noted above, these trainings are FREE for interested candidates/campaign treasurers!

Trainings will be available both in-person and via Zoom (i.e. all in-person events will also be available virtually via Zoom). COPP will be offering the training on the following dates/locations:

• March 1, 2022:  10:00 AM-Noon, Zoom only
• March 9, 2022: 1:00-3:00 PM, Billings, in person/Zoom
• March 10, 2022: 2:00-4:00 PM, Bozeman, in person/Zoom
• March 22, 2022: 10:00 AM-Noon, Helena, in person/Zoom
• April 12, 2022: 1:00-3:00 PM, Missoula, in person/Zoom
• April 13, 2022: 1:00-3:00 PM, Great Falls, in person/Zoom

Please note that candidates/campaign treasurers may attend any training- attendance (virtual or in-person) is not limited at any event. The presentation prepared by COPP staff for these trainings is also available on the COPP’s website here.
